Where collecting antiques meets making memories

Creighton House Antiques, located in the historic village of Jordan, Ontario, has been a beloved destination for antique enthusiasts for 40 years. Our shop has been the life's work of my husband, Jowe, who was an amazing picker, dealer, and collector of antiques. He was known for his overflowing shop and storage barns, always filled with recent finds. Sadly, Jowe passed away in July 2019 after an 11-year battle with cancer, and we have made the difficult decision to close our doors to the public.

Although we are no longer buying antiques, my love for collecting antiques remains strong. Our shop may be a shadow of its former self, but we are still offering a selection of high-quality antiques for sale. We invite you to visit us and take advantage of our current sales.

Antique Furniture

We have a beautiful tall mahogany single bed from circa 1920, which is well-constructed and features well-turned posts topped with distinctive finials. This sturdy bed is in very good original condition and would be a stunning addition to any bedroom.

We also have a set of four attractive chairs from circa 1920 with rush seats. These timeless chairs are very well-made and lend themselves to many decorating styles. The unique and attractive backs are comfortable, as are the rush seats. The rushing has been painted blue but can be painted any color or striped to its natural rope/rush color.

Collectible Lighting

Our brass light fixture with two shades is in excellent condition and would make a statement in any room. This complete fixture is brass and features two attractive shades.

Antique Billiard Table

Our large antique snooker/billiard table from circa 1900 is in excellent condition and is made of solid quarter-sawn oak of the highest quality. The pool table has been disassembled, and the slate is in four sections for easier moving. The leather pockets are in great condition, and it comes with a pool rack and cues. The rack is in great condition with an attractive logo Samuel May & Co, Toronto, Canada also from circa 1900.

Antique Display Stands

Our attractive mahogany stand from circa 1940 is in very good condition and features a footed base, nice moldings, and original hardware. This well-made stand has a large upper drawer and two cupboard doors below and includes a removable, protective glass top.
