The Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital's mission to provide quality health care in our community. We do this by raising funds to ensure the equipment, services, and resources are there when you need them.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support quality health care close to home. We strive to achieve this by working in partnership with the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital to provide the highest level of health care possible to the residents of Huron County and neighbouring communities. Our vision is to be a leading charity of choice for Huron County, and we are committed to achieving this through our dedication to excellence and our passion for improving health care in our community.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, including fundraising initiatives, event planning, and community outreach. Our fundraiser, Split the Pot Lottery, is a collaborative effort that supports hospitals across Ontario, and provides players with the chance to win while contributing to vital healthcare initiatives in their communities. We also provide opportunities for individuals and businesses to make donations, host events, and share their stories to support our hospital.
Our History
The AMGH Foundation has been helping to enhance patient care and safety since 1993. We are proud of our history of helping our hospital continue to provide the highest quality care and services possible, and serving as a community ambassador for the hospital. We have had many milestones to celebrate over the years, and we continue to work towards our vision of being a leading charity of choice for Huron County.
