The patient reviews at Auburn Community Hospital are mixed, with some expressing satisfaction with the care they received while others have had negative experiences.
Ambulatory Care
Several reviewers had positive experiences with the hospital's ambulatory care services. Andrew Warholl visited the hospital at 2am and reported quick and wonderful hospitality. Dr. Page relieved his symptoms without the need for surgery, saving him time and money. Mickey, a nurse, also received praise for her excellent care.
Dori Ryder's husband was admitted to the hospital after being brought in by ambulance and received excellent care from NP Josh and RN Jess. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to find out what was causing his problems.
Urgent Care
However, other reviewers had negative experiences with the hospital's urgent care services. Encrypted Reacts reported waiting 2 hours in the waiting room before their child was seen, only to have them taken in last despite arriving first. The reviewer was left upset and frustrated.
Haley Milam expressed frustration with the hospital's administrative staff, who failed to return phone calls. The nursing staff also received criticism for not interacting with patients.
Surgery and Urology
Christine reported mixed experiences, praising the surgeon and PA but criticizing the nursing staff for not wearing masks and being uncaring. Ck Jr had a negative experience with Dr. Kate Simpson, a urologist who was rude and lacked personal skills.
Lactation Services
Katie had a positive experience with the lactation specialist, Katie, who was knowledgeable and helpful.
Cancer Center
Red State expressed criticism of the PA at the cancer center, who was rude and nasty to patients. The reviewer would not recommend the hospital for cancer treatment.
