Our History
Since its founding in 1951, TPTC has been a beloved institution in the City of Vaughan. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our members and the community. Today, we are proud to be one of the leading tennis clubs in the region, with a reputation for excellence, inclusivity, and fun.
Organization and Communication
TPTC has been criticized for being disorganized and lacking in communication. Several reviewers, including Natalie Maltz, H. F., and Patrick C., have mentioned issues with booking courts, scheduling lessons, and the management of the house league. The club has also been accused of changing rules without notifying members and not providing clear information about court availability.
Facilities and Staff
On the other hand, TPTC has received positive feedback for its facilities and staff. Reviewers such as Deepak Shukla, Kc Mak, and Charlie Bai have praised the tennis courts, atmosphere, and lighting, as well as the friendly staff and convenient booking system. The club's facilities are considered to be in good repair, and the staff has been described as helpful and welcoming.
House League and Lessons
The house league and lessons at TPTC have also been the subject of some criticism. Maria Hutner mentioned that her child was confused due to a new instructor every week, and the instructors were often late. On the other hand, Guilherme Perini and Deepak Shukla have praised the lessons and instructors at the club.
Overall Experience
Overall, the reviews for TPTC are mixed. While some reviewers have had positive experiences with the facilities and staff, others have been disappointed by the lack of organization and communication. The club's ability to provide clear information and maintain consistency in its scheduling and management seems to be a major area for improvement.
