Disappointing Experience with A&B Concepts
The reviews for Above and Beyond Concepts (A&B Concepts) are mixed, with one reviewer having a severely negative experience and the other having a positive one.
The 1-star review from Katayoun Rez describes a frustrating and damaging experience with A&B Concepts. The client hired the company to install laminate flooring in their condo, but the installation was done poorly. The reviewer discovered damage to the newly redone ceiling, walls, and sliding screen door, as well as uneven cuts and poor cleanup. The client felt unsupported and had to fix the problems themselves, and the company was uncooperative and unwilling to take accountability for the issues.
Product and Service Failures
The reviewer also mentioned being double-charged for some items, and the project ended up costing much more than budgeted due to the company's unwillingness to rectify the issues in a timely manner. The client regrets hiring A&B Concepts and would not recommend them.
On the other hand, the 5-star review from Genevieve Truce Legg describes an exceptional experience with the company. As an interior designer, she has dealt with multiple flooring companies, but she is extremely impressed with A&B Concepts. The reviewer worked with Jenn Brooks, who was knowledgeable, helpful, and able to find the perfect product for the project. The existing floor was transformed, and the reviewer is looking forward to working with A&B Concepts on future projects.
