Our History

Our company was founded by Dr. Andy Robertson in 1994, after he left Steffen, Robertson & Kirsten (SRK), a firm he founded in South Africa in the 1970s. Since then, we have grown to become a leading provider of geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geochemical services to the mining industry. Today, our company is managed by Dr. Christoph Wels, a principal and Senior Hydrogeologist, while Dr. Robertson focuses on senior review work. Over the years, we have worked on over 150 projects in 16 countries, including some of the largest and most remote mines in the world.
