Edge is Tradition. This is our story.
At Rise Gold Corp, we are dedicated to re-opening the historic Idaho-Maryland gold mine, once the second largest lode gold mine in the United States. Our state-of-the-art underground mine and surface processing facilities have been designed to ensure minimal environmental impacts and disturbance to our neighbors.
Our History
The Idaho-Maryland mine has a rich history, with total past production of 2.4 million oz of gold at an average mill head grade of 1/2 oz per ton. The mine was once the largest producing lode gold mine in California and the second largest in the United States. Despite being forced to close during WWII, the mine has a remarkable history of production, with annual production averaging 121,000 oz gold per year in the two years leading up to its closure.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including gold mining, exploration, and processing. Our team of experts has meticulously designed our facilities to minimize environmental impacts, ensuring that we can operate safely and sustainably. Our goal is to resume production at the Idaho-Maryland mine, while maintaining the highest standards of environmental stewardship and community engagement.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Rise Gold Corp, we are committed to sustainability and responsible mining practices. Our operations are designed to minimize our carbon footprint, with 50% less CO2 per $1M GDP than the California average. We also consume 90% less water and produce 95% less "mine waste" than the world gold industry average. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our approach to mining, which prioritizes environmental protection and community engagement.
