At Militex, we pride ourselves on being North America's premier military and industrial paint finishing facility. With an impeccable quality record spanning decades, we offer a wide range of metal finishing options, versatile coatings for small and large parts, and complete value-added work. Our state-of-the-art facility in London, Ontario, boasts a team of 150 experienced employees who process over 300,000 parts per year, with a turnaround time of just five business days.

Our History and Development

Our journey began in 1990 with a small facility and only two paint booths. However, we quickly grew to become a trusted supplier for General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada, applying Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC) on the Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) family. In the 1990s, we expanded our metal finishing options, including a seven-stage zinc phosphate coating, and the capability to finish and assemble entire vehicles. The 2000s saw us support the production of thousands of Stryker armoured vehicles for the US Army, further expanding our operations to improve our pretreatment capabilities and ability to sandblast and paint entire vehicles. Since then, we have continually added capabilities to improve our efficiency, output, and quality.

Our Facilities and Services

Our 100,000 square foot plant is equipped with 12 booths, four of which are fed by conveyors, allowing us to clean, pretreat, coat, assemble, and identify parts up to 20,000 pounds in size and weight. We offer a range of services, including cleaning and pretreatment for ferrous and non-ferrous parts, applying CARC, other military coatings, or industrial coatings with powder or liquid finishing for parts or vehicles, application of polyurea coatings, assembly and identification of parts or vehicles, and quality assurance for corrosion testing and first article inspection.

Our Capabilities

We are unique in our range of capabilities, offering multiple cleaning and pretreatment options for various substrates, liquid or powder coating, and assembly, identification, and other value-added services. We can quickly process parts of all sizes, configurations, and weights, including large, heavy components or vehicles. Our certifications and approvals include ISO-9001:2015, registration with the Canadian Controlled Goods Program, and the American International Traffic in Arms Regulations program.
