At Essential Motorcycle Services, we pride ourselves on being a full-service motorcycle shop located in Vancouver, BC. Our story began in 2007 when our founder, Ted, had a vision to create a shop that offered efficient and real-time service to motorcycle enthusiasts. With a passion for motorcycles, Ted noticed that many shops were lacking in providing quick and efficient service, and he wanted to change that.
Our History
In 2008, we opened our doors for the first time in a 700-square-foot building with two lift benches. As our business grew, we expanded to a 1300-square-foot building with three lift benches, and eventually, a 2000-square-foot building. In 2016, we partnered with EagleRider Motorcycle Rentals and moved into our current location, a 9500-square-foot space, making us the largest independent motorcycle shop in British Columbia.

At EMS, we provide the essential motorcycle services that every rider needs. Our services include:
- Real-time oil changes, brake service, and tire changes with no appointment necessary
- A vast selection of oil filters and brake pads in stock at all times
- Tire changes done while you wait, with the option to bring your own tires
