At Heritage Home Child Care Services, we have been providing high-quality child care services to the community of Scarborough since 1985. As a thriving non-profit early learning and care service, we are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional care to children aged 18 months to 12 years old. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.

Our Programs

We offer a range of child care services to meet the needs of your child and your family. Our home child care services provide high-quality care in a warm home environment, where caregivers are recruited, assessed, and trained to ensure high standards of care are delivered in every home. Our two child care centers, located at St. Rene Goupil Catholic School and Milliken Public School, meet the highest provincial and municipal requirements and standards.

We believe that quality programs are rooted in continuous professional learning, and we support the planning and delivery of workshops and training sessions to promote learning. Our early learning and care philosophy and program goals are guided by this belief, and we strive to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing high-quality early learning and care programs that meet the highest standards of care. Our child care centers are staffed by qualified, Registered Early Childhood Educators and Educational Assistants, and our Home-Based Providers are committed to delivering high standards in their home programs. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education under the Child Care and Early Years Act and are assessed yearly to meet the criteria set out by Children's Services in their Assessments for Quality Improvement guidelines.
