Our Services
Desert Sun Counselling and Resource Centre offers a variety of services designed to support individuals and families. Our programs are designed to address crisis situations, promote healthy relationships, and provide support for personal growth and development. Our services include crisis help, women's crisis line, SAFE HOME, adult counselling, parenting skills, women's counselling, men's counselling, children's counselling, children and youth counselling, roots of empathy, circle of security, PEACE program, youth shelter, parenting supports, affordable housing, early years community kitchen, Mother Goose program, DS Cooks, circle of security tablet lending library, support for seniors, computer tutor, men's shed, and seniors - better at home.

We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can feel supported and heard. Our staff are dedicated to providing personalized support and guidance to help individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Community Impact
As a registered non-profit organization, Desert Sun Counselling and Resource Centre relies on the generous support of community members and funders to provide our programs and services. In 2021/2022, we received over 5,000 calls, provided over 6,680 outreach hours, served over 5,463 meals, and offered respite bed stays to 1,196 individuals. Our programs and services make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.
