Located in the heart of Merigomish, Nova Scotia, Cranberry Campground has been a family-owned and operated business since 2005. We take pride in providing our guests with a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience. Our campground offers a range of amenities and activities to suit all ages and interests.
Our Services
At Cranberry Campground, we offer a variety of services to make your stay with us comfortable and convenient. Our campsites are spacious and well-maintained, with options for 30 and 50 amp service, pull-through sites, and beautiful water views. We also have a selection of modern, fully equipped rental cottages for those who prefer a more luxurious camping experience.
In addition to our campsites and cottages, we offer a range of amenities, including clean, modern bathrooms and showers, a 28'x56' outdoor pool, a playground, basketball court, badminton/volleyball, and walking trails. We also have a convenience store, gas bar, and liquor store on site, as well as fire pits and firewood for sale.

At Cranberry Campground, we believe that camping should be a fun and relaxing experience for the whole family. That's why we offer a range of activities and events throughout the season, including weekly planned activities and theme weekends. Our guests can enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating on the nearby lake, or take part in one of our many outdoor games and activities.
About Our Campground
Our campground is situated in a beautiful, natural setting, surrounded by trees and wildlife. We have a total of 48'x52' sites, with a mix of 30 and 50 amp service, as well as pull-through sites and two-way sites with water views. We also have a beautiful, un-serviced section for tents only.

Cleanliness and Maintenance
The campground's washrooms were a major point of contention among reviewers. Sarah praised the cleanliness of the washrooms, stating that they were "clean and renovated." On the other hand, Charmaine was appalled by the filthy condition of the washrooms, including one stall with no toilet paper for 24 hours. Tracy also reported dirty bathrooms at night, and Jesse mentioned that the bathrooms "suck."
Facilities and Amenities
The campground's facilities were another area of concern. Sarah praised the pool's cleanliness, while Tracy noted that the pool was "clean but not very big." Jesse was disappointed to find the pool closed during his stay. The park's Wi-Fi was also a topic of discussion, with Rasta commenting that he was unable to connect, while Jesse described the Wi-Fi as "sucks."
Value for Money
Tracy felt overcharged for her stay, citing a rate of $52 per night compared to the advertised $42 for full 50-amp service. Jesse agreed, stating that the campground was nickel-and-diming him with extra fees. On the other hand, Kyle praised the excellent location and views, which made his stay worthwhile.
Location and Setting
The campground's location was a major selling point for several reviewers. Kyle praised the ocean views, while Rasta enjoyed the scenic bike rides and sunsets. Jesse, however, described the area as a "vapid wasteland."
Overall Experience
Reactions to the campground's overall experience were mixed. Sarah had a great stay, praising the friendly staff and amenities.
