Lighthouse Counselling Centre has been a beacon of hope and guidance in the Edmonton community for over 30 years. Founded in 1992 by experienced therapist Suzanne Sovdi, we offer a comprehensive range of counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Our vision is to empower individuals and families to achieve emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual wellness. We believe in fostering meaningful connections, building resilience, and fostering personal growth.

Meet Suzanne Sovdi, Founder & Therapist

Suzanne is a highly skilled and compassionate therapist with over three decades of experience. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and subsequent Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, she has honed her skills in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and evidence-based interventions. She is a dedicated member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Individual Counselling

• Collaborative exploration of individual challenges and goals

Couples & Family Counselling

• Strengthening communication and intimacy in relationships

• Addressing specific challenges faced by groups, such as anxiety, grief, and eating disorders
