Poor Customer Service Experience
The majority of reviewers had a negative experience with the optometrist. Many felt that the staff was unprofessional, rude, or uncaring. Some reviewers mentioned issues with appointments, customer service, and lack of integrity.
Defective Products and Warranty Issues
Two reviewers experienced problems with defective products. The first reviewer's wife bought a pair of Jimmy Choo glasses that developed a defect within a short time. Although the optometrist fixed the issue initially, they refused to cover the cost of repairs when the same problem occurred again, citing the 2-year warranty had expired. Another reviewer's daughter had glasses that kept falling off her face, and the optometrist refused to adjust them without an appointment, despite the girl being only 8 years old.
Unreliable and Unhelpful Staff
Several reviewers mentioned difficulties with scheduling appointments, with some being told to reschedule or being treated rudely on the phone. One reviewer even overheard staff members making fun of clients in the contact lens fitting area.
Undisclosed Extra Services and Unnecessary Expenses
Two reviewers felt that the optometrist was trying to take advantage of them by offering unnecessary services or procedures without fully explaining the costs or benefits. One reviewer was told that a retinal scan was necessary, but the results were never discussed with the patient.
