Reviews
Negative: Both authors experienced misdiagnosis, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior from Main West Veterinary Clinic, leading to serious consequences for their pets.

Disappointing Experience

Both authors had severely disappointing experiences with Main West Veterinary Clinic, sharing similar frustrating and concerning stories of misdiagnosis, poor treatment, and a lack of professionalism.

Multiple Misdiagnoses

Jamie N. recounts the misdiagnosis of their two cats, Colby and Felix, by Dr. Bhan and Dr. Joseph. Colby was prescribed pills for a hyperthyroid condition, but the dosage was not adjusted when his levels were low, leading to serious complications. Felix was diagnosed with cancer by Dr. Joseph without a proper examination, and his urinary tract infection was missed. The teeth extraction surgery for Felix ended up being a major mistake, and the clinic's negligence almost cost Jamie their pet.

Theresa H. had a similar experience with her cat, who was misdiagnosed with FIV, liver cancer, and hemolysis. The clinic's lack of expertise and miscommunication led to the cat's unnecessary euthanization, and Theresa has doubts about the clinic's competence.

Poor Communication

Both authors express frustration with the clinic's poor communication and lack of transparency. Jamie was not informed about the possible risks of the teeth extraction surgery, and the clinic did not offer a proper apology or explanation after the mistakes were made. Theresa felt that the clinic's doctors were unclear and confusing, leading to misunderstandings and misdiagnosis.

Unprofessional Behavior

Jamie was not contacted by the clinic after Felix's death, and they were not offered any explanation or apology. Theresa also felt that the clinic was unprofessional in their handling of her cat's case, including the door-to-door changing of doctors, which caused confusion and delays in treatment.

Concerns about Competence

Both authors have raised concerns about the clinic's competence and quality of care. Jamie wonders if the clinic has changed its accessories for blood taking and injection, which could be causing infections. Theresa is suspicious about the clinic's procedures and treatments, feeling that some were unnecessary and even harmful.
