Aggressive Driving Incident
A reviewer had a disturbing encounter with one of the company's truck drivers on the QE 2 southbound highway. The incident occurred on February 14, 2020, around 11:30 am, and involved an aggressive driver operating a step deck trailer.
Unprofessional Behaviour
The driver allegedly honked at the reviewer without reason, yelled at them, and even made obscene gestures. When the reviewer honked back, the driver continued to yell and gesture, even as they were exiting onto Highway 625 (Nisku). This behaviour is deemed unprofessional and dangerous, especially considering the driver was operating a loaded trailer on a busy highway.
Lack of Defensive Driving
The reviewer, who is also a truck driver, emphasized the importance of defensive driving and expressed disappointment in the company's failure to teach its drivers this essential skill. They believe that a professional driver should not engage in reckless and aggressive behaviour, especially on a high-traffic highway.
