Ben Welland, the lead photographer and owner of byfield-pitman, brings over two decades of experience to the studio. His love for photography started at the age of fourteen when he built a black and white darkroom in his basement. Ben has since become an accomplished photographer, having worked with numerous reputable publications, shot for various commercial clients, and photographed hundreds of weddings.
Ben is the recipient of the Corel Imaging Award for the best digital image at the Algonquin Student Exhibition, and in 2014, he received a Fearless Photographers award for his exceptional work.
