Our dedicated team of Registered Early Childhood Educators is eager to contribute to your child's development and child care experiences in a positive and nurturing environment. We are committed to providing high-quality child care services that support your child's education and development in all of our licensed child care locations.

Our Philosophy

At Latchkey Child Care and Learning Centre, we believe that all children are naturally strong and capable learners. We offer a safe, licensed, supervised, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, create, build, problem-solve, and try out new skills. Our curriculum is designed to reflect children's interests and ideas, and we value and respect children as competent and confident individuals.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs that cater to children's needs and interests. Our preschool program is designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years and focuses on having fun while starting on the path to life-long learning. We provide full and half-day camp programs during March Break, PD Days, Christmas Break, and Summer for children aged 4-12 years. Our before and after care programs provide an inclusive child care program that is exciting, fun, safe, and nurturing in a comfortable environment. We also provide hot lunch services and support for children with special needs until the age of 13.

Our Locations

We are proud to have 15 locations across the region, making it easy for families to access high-quality child care services. Our programs are fully licensed and meet all regulations outlined in the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA).

Our Commitment to Safety

At Latchkey Child Care and Learning Centre, the safety and well-being of children, families, and staff are our top priority. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented strict policies and procedures to ensure the safety of everyone in our care. Our policies include access policies, family screening surveys, daily screening and separation procedures, sanitization policies, and pandemic policies for suspected illness of a client or staff.

Our Team

Our team of qualified, licensed staff is certified in First Aid and CPR and is committed to providing high-quality child care services that meet the individual needs of each child. We believe that positive and caring relationships are essential for children's growth and development, and we strive to develop strong relationships with children, families, and school communities.
