Our Story

At Chrima, we are a team of passionate individuals who are driven to make a difference in the world. We take pride in building things and creating cool stuff. With over 60 years of experience in the industry, we have grown from a one-person operation to a highly advanced 65,000 square foot manufacturing space. We have undergone significant changes throughout our history, but our principles remain unwavering. We are committed to making a difference in people's lives, using our business to influence positive change, and being part of projects that align with our vision. We prioritize long-term relationships with our customers over one-off jobs and believe that effective communication is the key to our success.

History

Chrima began with one man, an idea, and the determination to make it work. Since 1960, we have been a leader in custom metal fabrication in Southwestern Ontario. Our capabilities have grown significantly over the years, and we continue to expand and add new machines to our space.

Our Services

At Chrima, we offer a wide range of services, including:

• Machining Services: As part of our ongoing effort to increase our range of services, we are proud to announce our expansion into machining! This addition is complementary to our existing fabrication services and will allow for more precision and larger scale production of complex parts.
• Vertical Integration: We have brought some previously subcontracted operations in-house by adding new machinery to our list. This vertical integration has many benefits, including decreasing lead times, increasing control over operations, and achieving our vision of succeeding in an Industry 4.0 environment.
• Laser Cutting: With multiple flat laser systems, we are able to cut a wide range of material. We also have large format Trumpf tube laser systems with unique efficiency potential.
• Forming: We have various machines for bending, rolling, and forming flat parts.
• Welding: We have strong welding capabilities with robotic and manual welding systems.
• Engineering Design Support: We have top talent for designing parts and offline programming.
