Our Story

In 1981, brothers John and Bill Fielding embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding IDMD (Innovative Designers and Manufacturers of Displays) with a modest investment of $4,500. Initially, the company focused on distributing promotional items, but as demand grew, they broke into the manufacturing sector with the purchase of their first injection molding machine. The company's rapid growth led to new market opportunities, and they began to specialize in merchandising and display systems for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

In 1999, Tom Hendren joined the company as a partner, and in 2000, IDMD became Array. Under Tom's leadership as CEO, Array expanded its global capabilities, establishing manufacturing alliances in China, Mexico, and Western Europe. Today, with over 750 employees, Array is a leading provider of in-store marketing services, offering a range of solutions including design and development, global manufacturing, project management, customer service, and sustainability initiatives.
