Our Counselling Services

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #3581) with a Master of Counselling degree and specialization in counselling psychology, Gary Hartford offers a wide range of counselling services to address various issues, including couples and relationships, overwhelming sadness, excessive worry and fear, substance misuse and abuse, stress, loss, and youth and family challenges. Our therapeutic approach is informed by narrative therapy, which empowers individuals to cultivate a preferred way of being in the world and overcome problems.

About Gary Hartford

Gary Hartford, the founder of Gary Hartford Counselling, grew up in nearby Gold River and is proud to call Campbell River home. With a passion for learning, being outdoors, and good company, Gary is dedicated to helping individuals and communities overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With extensive experience working in various contexts, including wilderness settings, schools, community service organizations, and residential programs, Gary is comfortable working with children, youth, and adults, as well as individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse cultural backgrounds.
