Who We Are

At Bulldog Kids, we believe that children are not a distraction from more important work, but rather the most important work. For this reason, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a safe, positive space for children and youth to thrive physically, socially, and emotionally. Our goal is to encourage positive self-estimation, physical activity, leadership skills, and teamwork, while fostering a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Our History

Our journey began in 2007 with a vision to create a nurturing environment where children could grow and develop at their own pace. Over the years, we have expanded our programs to include full-day childcare for toddlers and preschoolers, while remaining committed to our core values of creativity, curiosity, and innovation. Our state-of-the-art facility, located in Barrie, Ontario, provides a vibrant and engaging space for children to learn and thrive.

Our Curriculum

At Bulldog Kids, we recognize that every child has the potential to love learning. We believe that young learners need rich and varied opportunities to explore their environment, engage with peers, and interact with responsive adults. Our curriculum is designed to support students in thinking of themselves as confident, curious, creative, and innovative; and as responsible contributors, capable communicators, and problem solvers.

Our Values

We believe that self-esteem and identity formation are at the root of a child's development. We foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages friendship building, cooperation, and empathy, which in turn promotes self-worth and leadership skills. We also prioritize literacy, recognizing that every child must be able to communicate and read fluently in order to develop a love for learning and grow into well-rounded individuals. Physical activity is also essential, as it helps children develop their fundamental movement skills, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
