At Bradford Progress Childcare Centres, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable care and early learning opportunities for children from infancy to age 12. For over 30 years, we have been committed to fostering a sense of belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression in every child who walks through our doors. We believe that a child's early years are the foundation for their future success, and we strive to create an environment where they can thrive.
Our Story
Established in 1990, Bradford Progress Childcare Centres is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality child care and early learning opportunities to the communities we serve. We have grown to include three full-service daycare locations and 12 school-based on-site before-and-after school programs in Bradford, Beeton, Colgan, and Tottenham. Our organization is committed to participating in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program, which will assist our families with lower child care fees for children up to the end of Senior Kindergarten.
Our Approach
At Bradford Progress Childcare Centres, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a customized approach to their early learning journey. Our emergent curriculum play-based learning approach is designed to promote active learning, exploration, and discovery. Our programs are rooted in the four foundations of learning: belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression. Our experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Staff and Care
The staff at Bradford Progress Childcare have been praised for being great, caring, and like a little family. Specific staff members such as Krystal, Lakwinder, and Jaylene have been named as being awesome. Additionally, the centre has been commended for preparing children well for kindergarten.
Issues with Management and Communication
On the other hand, some reviewers have had negative experiences with management and communication. One reviewer had a poor experience with a rude and power-hungry supervisor who was not interested in discussing changes to their child's schedule. This led to unexpected fees and a lack of understanding from the supervisor.
Facilities and Outdoor Play
The outdoor play area has been criticized for being a small pen with limited activities for children. However, another reviewer praised the East centre location for having a large grass area.
Concerns with Diaper Changing
A significant concern has been raised about the centre's diaper changing policy. One reviewer reported that their nephew did not receive a diaper change during a 6-hour stay, and this was not an isolated incident.
