The story of Pacific Ridge Landscapes began in 2003 when Merle, with a background in graphic design and drafting, started working for a friend in the landscaping business. His natural talent for design and previous experience translated seamlessly into the landscape design industry. In 2006, Merle took over the business, and Katie, with her growing interest in landscape design and a degree from Guelph University's Landscape Design Program, joined the team full-time. Together, they relocated to Sidney in 2013, where they discovered a family connection to the community through Katie's great-grandfather, who had founded Sidney's Anderson's Hardware decades earlier.
Over the years, Pacific Ridge Landscapes has grown and expanded, cultivating strong relationships with builders, developers, architects, biologists, engineers, and clients who have become dear friends.
