At Tennis British Columbia, our mandate is to inspire and enable British Columbians to play tennis. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to get involved in the sport, whether as a recreational player or a competitive athlete.

Services Offered

We offer a wide range of services and programs designed to support the tennis community in British Columbia. These include:

Junior Tennis Programs: Our junior programs provide opportunities for young players to develop their skills and compete at the local, provincial, and national levels. From learn-to-play programs to high-performance training, we have a program to suit every level of player.
Adult Tennis Programs: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, we have programs and events designed to help you improve your game and stay active. From interclub leagues to community tennis leagues, we have something for everyone.
Coaching Certification: Our coaching certification program provides training and development opportunities for coaches, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge and become certified tennis professionals.
Memberships and Clubs: We offer individual and club memberships, providing access to exclusive benefits, services, and resources.
Officiating: Our officiating program provides training and development opportunities for officials, helping them to develop their skills and become certified tennis officials.

Supportive Coaching

Rebecca Pitfield was dissatisfied with the camp's organization, stating that her son didn't have a good experience and that the camp didn't respond to her email about his progress. On the other hand, Charles Du Toit's experience with Tennis BC's assistance with sanctioned tennis BC tournaments suggests that the organization can be effective in certain contexts.

Court Booking and Maintenance

Veronica D. praised Tennis BC's court booking system, noting that it's easy and accessible to secure a court. She also appreciated the organization's maintenance of the six courts at Stanley Park. However, Daithi Promo voiced concerns about Tennis BC's take-over of public tennis courts in BC, suggesting that the organization is prioritizing expensive coaching over public access.
