Our History
Founded in 1948 by Dr. Dudgeon, Dufferin Veterinary Services was originally a mixed animal practice that catered to both companion and farm animals. Over the years, the practice grew and evolved, with Dr. Wilson and Dr. Pugh joining the team in 1972 and 1976, respectively. In 1984, High County Veterinary Hospital was established in Shelburne to provide urgent care and medical appointments for clients in the surrounding communities.
