At the Alderlea Medical Clinic, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, up-to-date, and quality medical healthcare to our patients in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Our Services

As a full-scope family practice, we offer a broad spectrum of services to cater to the unique needs of our patients, from infants to seniors. Our services include:

Pediatric Care

We provide routine health checks and monitoring of growth and development for children from birth to adulthood. We also offer vaccination programs for children, starting from 2 months of age, in partnership with the Duncan Health Unit. Our pediatric care services are designed to address any concerns or issues that may arise, and we refer out to local pediatricians for specialty care when necessary.

Youth and Adolescent Care

Our physicians are committed to supporting the unique health needs of youth and adolescents, including mental health, addictions, and reproductive health. We offer confidential services, including education, counseling, and referrals, and work closely with local Island Health Youth Clinics to provide comprehensive care.

Women's Health

We provide a range of women's health services, including contraception options, pap tests, breast examinations, menstrual bleeding disorder management, and guidance through the menopause years. Our physicians also counsel patients on screening options for breast, cervical, and colon cancer, and offer specialized services such as IUD insertion or removal. We support patients through the pre-conception period, but do not offer pregnancy care beyond that.

Immunications and Prescriptions

We offer routine vaccinations and immunizations to patients of all ages, as well as prescription medication management and minor surgical procedures. Our physicians work closely with local pharmacies and specialist clinics to ensure that patients receive the care they need.

Access and Parking

Our clinic is conveniently located at 101-330 Festubert St, Duncan, BC V9L 3S9, with ample parking available. We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with phone answering hours from 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-4:00pm. We also offer after-hours and emergency services for patients who require urgent attention.

Communicable Diseases Safety Plan

We take the safety and well-being of our patients and staff very seriously, and have implemented a comprehensive Communicable Diseases Safety Plan in accordance with best practices and guidelines. For more information on our plan, please contact us.

After Hours Services

In the event of an emergency or crisis, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room. For non-urgent matters, please contact us during our regular office hours or access our website for additional resources and support.

Uninsured Services

Some services may require payment out of pocket, and we recommend contacting us prior to receiving care to determine the associated costs. We accept most major insurance providers and offer payment plans for those who require them.

Patient Resources

We offer a range of patient resources, including patient handouts, useful videos, and links to relevant health information. We encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare, and provide guidance and support to help them make informed decisions about their care.
