Our rich history began in 1948 when Joseph Lemieux purchased the Ponteix Trading Company and opened Lemieux Funeral Home and Lemieux Hardware Store. In the following years, Joseph's sons Ernie and Roland (Dick) joined the family business, leading to the construction of a new funeral home at its current location in 1968. Today, Ernie's daughter Jackie Schlageter carries on the legacy as the third generation of the Lemieux family to provide exceptional funeral services.
