Amundson & Associates

Amundson & Associates is a clinical and consulting practice that has been providing psychological services in Calgary since 1981. We are a designated center for testing and research and have been instrumental in providing guidance for psychologists, the legal community, and the provincial professional association(s) on practice standards. Our team of experienced psychologists has provided tens of thousands of direct patient service hours over the past 30 years and is dedicated to the provision of psychological services in an effective, efficient, and economical manner.

As a professional corporation, we are involved not only in direct service to our patient population but also in training and service to the profession. Our mission is to consistently achieve pre-eminence in the field and to serve as a model for the independent practice of psychology regarding Best Practice Standards.

Services Offered

At Amundson & Associates, we offer a range of clinical and therapy services, including:

• Clinical/Therapy Services: Our team of experienced psychologists provides a range of therapy services for individuals, couples, and families. We offer a professional-casual approach, short to no wait times, and sliding fee scales. Our services are covered by psychology inclusive insurance policies.
• Equine Assisted Therapy: We offer equine assisted therapy, which has been found to be effective in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic distress, and marital/relationship conflict. Our certified equine therapy practitioner, Shauna Pupp, offers a structured and empirically supported approach to resolution in a peaceful and serene environment.
• Child & Adolescent Assessment: We offer comprehensive assessment and testing services for children and adolescents. Our assessments can help identify learning disabilities, attention deficits, and emotional or behavioral issues.
• Custody & Access Evaluation: We offer custody and access evaluations for families going through separation or divorce. Our evaluations are conducted by experienced psychologists who provide objective and impartial assessments to help families and the court make informed decisions about custody and access arrangements.

Meet the Associates

Shauna Pupp has been offering clinical services in Calgary since 2009 and has developed expertise in adolescent mental health, couple's treatment, clinical depression and anxiety, and the core concept of trauma. She is certified in Equine Assisted Learning and is a clinical advisor/program facilitator for Wounded Warriors Canada.

Zane C. Webber received his license in 2001 and became a co-owner of this practice in 2017. His training is in Marriage and Family Systems Therapy, and his areas of expertise include relationships, anxiety, anger, and stress. He has had a great deal of success working with kids and teens, along with their parents for many childhood issues. Zane lived abroad in Asia for 13 years, running a practice in Seoul, South Korea, and so has a unique perspective and approach to therapy.
