For many Central Okanagan residents, their weekly adrenaline rush is attending Kelowna's most exciting auto Auction, Kelowna Auction World. Located at the corner of Highway 97 North and Sexsmith Road, the auction house has been providing the local community and beyond with affordable and reliable pre-owned vehicles for years. With a fun bidding process and vehicles sold at wholesale pricing, it's no surprise that more and more people are turning to Auction World to find their next ride.

On auction days, which are held every Saturday at 10 AM, hundreds of locals and people from all over can be found parked along Highway 97, and walking around the huge facility, previewing more than 200 vehicles of all types, makes, and models that are up for auction. Many of these vehicles are unrestricted, meaning that the public has a say in the price they pay. Gates open at 8:30 AM, giving attendees plenty of time to preview the vehicles before the bidding starts.

But Auction World is not just about the thrill of the bidding process and the excitement of driving away in a new vehicle at a great price. The staff at Kelowna Auction World are dedicated to their company, their customers, and the many charities in the local community they've sponsored over the years. Every year, Auction World has donated two vehicles to the Have a Heart Radiothon and B.C. Children's Hospital telethon. They are also involved in events and causes such as Braintrust Canada, the SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society and many more.

Lack of Transparency and Quality Issues

Several reviewers have reported concerns about the quality of vehicles sold at Auction World. The owner of the vehicle initially downplayed the issue, stating that it was a minor problem with the computer. Another reviewer, Ray Jack A. MacDonald, purchased a 2003 Jaguar that required significant repairs and ultimately did not run due to a faulty dashboard circuit board that was no longer available.

Shawne Elaine Danahy's stepdaughter bought a vehicle from the auction and it operated well for some time. Kurt Freistadt has purchased three excellent vehicles from the auction and had nothing but good things to say about the business.
