Our Story
Polar Studio was founded in 1947 by Noel Tremblay in Chapleau, Ontario, initially as Gamma Photo. Over the years, the studio has undergone transformations, with Noel adding Polar Studio later and working with Graflex Camera. In 1976, Anne Tremblay joined the studio as a photographer and director, becoming an award-winning portrait photographer. In 1981, Brian Tremblay joined the team as a wedding and commercial photographer, and later took over the studio after Anne's retirement in 2006.
