Poor Workmanship and Negative Customer Experience
A customer, Ckn S., recently had a disappointing experience with North York Auto Glass. The company offered same-day service without a time guarantee, which led to an uncertain waiting period. The work was subcontracted to another technician who replaced the windshield without installing the moulding. The technician spent only 30 minutes on the job and failed to notify the customer about the missing moulding.
The customer was advised by the company's manager, Alex, that they were lying and did not have the moulding. However, after contacting the contractor, Alex found out that the technician had indeed failed to install the moulding. Instead of fixing the issue, Alex told the customer to pay someone else $20 to install it and advised that they were taking money out of his family's mouth.
The customer also mentioned that the windshield was not centered on the vehicle. They plan to remove and reinstall the windshield with a professional and file a civil suit against North York Auto Glass.
False Advertising and Lack of Customer Service
The customer experienced false advertising, poor workmanship, and negative customer service. They do not recommend North York Auto Glass and advise others to seek service elsewhere to guarantee their safety.
