Our firm was founded by Allan Taylor, a Financial Security Advisor with extensive experience in managing group health and dental plans ranging in size from one person to a few hundred people. Allan specializes in individual life insurance plans as well as Disability and Critical Illness insurance. Allan was born in Ottawa and holds a degree from York University. After graduating, he spent six years managing his family's retail business before joining the financial services industry in 1994.

Steven Taylor, another Financial Security Advisor at our firm, has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has extensive knowledge of the current investment climate and the ever-changing product lineup, including segregated funds, GICs, and Annuities. Steven was born in Ottawa and holds a degree from Carleton University. After graduating, he spent 10 years managing in his family's retail business.

Maria Medeiros, our Sales Administrator, joined Taylor Financial in 2012. She has over 15 years of combined administrative experience in the charitable and private sectors. Maria graduated from the Creative Advertising Program at Loyalist College in 1990 and graduated with Honours from the Legal Secretarial Program at The Toronto School of Business in 1993. She is currently serving as Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors for the Vanier Co-operative Daycare Centre. Maria works alongside Allan and Steven to provide a high level of organization and service to our clients.
