At Kensington Honeybee Child Care LTD, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from infancy to school age. Our fully accredited and licensed daycare is located in Calgary's northwest area, offering a bright, friendly, and clean facility with plenty of natural light and painted murals to inspire creativity. Situated beside a lovely park in a redeveloping neighborhood, our center is designed to meet the unique needs of each child, from social, emotional, and physical development to intellectual and creative growth.

Our experienced staff members are dedicated to guiding children's behavior, modeling appropriate behavior, and providing positive learning experiences. Our Services

Our comprehensive program is designed to stimulate intellectual, social, emotional, creative, and physical development. We offer a range of activities and programs, including:

• Ryder's Exploring Fine Arts: Local artist Ryder Richards leads a weekly program for 3-6 year olds, introducing them to various art mediums and techniques.

• Just Be Yoga: The wonderful ladies from Just Be Yoga visit our center once a week to teach yoga to 3-6 year olds, promoting flexibility, balance, and relaxation.

• Rick's Music: Musician Rick Hertert visits our center monthly to engage children in music and singing activities.

• Public Community Librarian: The Louise Riley Branch's librarian visits our center monthly to read new books to children and offer library membership applications.

• Meal Service: We provide warm, well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks, following the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide. Children with special dietary needs or allergies can provide their own food.

• Home Activities: Our activities include homework help, art projects, science experiments, and outdoor play.

Our Staff

Our staff members are friendly, outgoing, and passionate about working with children. Many have been with us for over 5 years, bringing a wealth of experience and creative ideas to our programs. Each staff member holds a valid police security certificate and has a valid first aid certificate.

Our Facilities

Our center is designed to provide a safe and healthy environment for children. We follow strict guidelines for cleanliness and hygiene, washing hands frequently and disinfecting toys regularly. Our facility is equipped with large windows, painted murals, and a variety of activity centers, allowing children to explore and learn.
