Our Beginnings
Founded in 1985 by Elsa and Enrique Roman, The Little School Centre for Integral Child Development began its journey in Cumberland, Ottawa, with a capacity for 16 preschoolers. Quickly recognized for its innovative approach to early childhood education, the school moved to its current location in Taylor Creek Business Park in 1988. Over the years, we have expanded our facilities and programs to cater to the diverse needs of families in the Ottawa community.

Our Community
We are proud to be a vital part of the Ottawa community. We collaborate with local institutions to provide enriching field placements and co-ed programs for our students. We are also governed by a dedicated Board of Directors composed of parents and community members.
The Little School Daycare has received numerous positive reviews from parents, praising the nurturing environment, exceptional educators, and engaging activities for children. Parents have noted marked improvements in their children's communication and social interaction skills, and many appreciate the daily updates and photos through the HiMama app. The daycare's events, educational toys, and varied and nutritious food menu have also been highly commended.
