Highland Mortgage Investment Corporation (Highland) is a mortgage investment corporation that was incorporated on November 4, 2009, under the Business Corporations Act of British Columbia and registered with the BC Financial Services Authority as a mortgage investment corporation. Our company is capitalized by the sale of Class B non-voting shares to investors for $1.00 per share. No one investor can own more than 25% of any class of shares.

As a mortgage investment corporation, Highland is dedicated to providing financing solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We offer a range of mortgage products, including first and second mortgages, on freehold and stratified properties located in British Columbia only. Our loan amounts range from $25,000 to $500,000 up to 75% loan to value. We understand that weak credit is not an issue as long as explainable and confirmation of ability to debt service can be provided.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced individuals who have a wealth of knowledge in the financial industry. Randle John Barrington-Foote is our President and Director. He has extensive experience in personal and commercial mortgage lending, with a background in banking and mortgage brokerage. David Thomas McKnight is our Secretary and Director, with a practice in civil and commercial litigation, including banking. Herb Jamieson is our Vice President Credit and Treasurer, with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He has served on the Board of Directors at Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation and has been a long-time supporter of the United Way. Ronald Joseph Evanski is our Vice President Risk, with over 15 years of experience in personal lending and 10 years of experience as a mortgage broker. Chris Cornborough is our Vice President Business Development, with an extensive background in mortgage financing and a strong track record of success in the financial industry.

What We Offer
