SPARK Investment, Tax & Insurance Services Ltd. is a financial services company that has been providing tax, accounting, and business advisory services to business owners, professionals, and families throughout Western Canada since 1991. Founded by Daniel F. Clark, BBA, the company has been dedicated to delivering innovative, effective, tax-efficient, and timely solutions for its clients for over 25 years.

Dan Clark, the company's founder, started his career in financial services articling with a local accounting firm while pursuing his Chartered Accountant designation. Following that time, he gained valuable business, tax, and accounting experience with that firm and with Ernst & Young LLP until February 2000. In February 2000, Dan became a co-founder and partner of the firm Luna Clark & Associates, Chartered Accountants. Following 7 very successful years, Dan decided to move on and start another accounting firm with his long-time friend of 20 years to form the firm of Clark Adams, Chartered Accountants. In both instances, Dan was the catalyst for growing the firms due to his commitment to client service, "outside the box" thinking, innovation, and his colorful personality.

In June 2012, after 20 years of public practice, Dan called it quits and sought to gain experience in the private sector. In the ensuing 5 years, Dan took on two different positions as Controller/CFO for two international companies. In that time, Dan gained a tremendous amount of experience including international accounting and tax matters, corporate governance, legal matters, human resource, and a whole host of other general business experience. Combined with the experience he gained in his 20+ years in public practice servicing hundreds of companies in a myriad of industries, he is fully capable of analyzing every aspect of his clients' needs.

In January 2018, Dan acquired his insurance licensing in life and accident & sickness and is endeavoring to share his expertise again with the public in the provision of financial advisory solutions to address the needs of business owners, professionals, and families. Specifically, Dan is focusing as a retirement and tax specialist.
