History
Deansgate Medical Clinic was founded in 2008 by three British physicians who shared a vision to provide patients with the safest and most effective treatment possible. The clinic started medical operations between London and Manchester, providing wellness and family medical services. As the company's patient following grew, anti-aging medicine and medical aesthetics were introduced. With the addition of specialized physicians, the company grew and extended as far as Asia and continental Europe. In 2013, Dr. Rao and Dr. Sharma, two of the original founding members, relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, and brought the best of their British medical training and experience to enhance and serve the health needs of their local community in Edmonton, which they now call home.

At Deansgate Medical Clinic, we offer a variety of medical services, including annual physical exams, mental health services, pediatric care, and pre and post-natal exams.
An annual physical exam is an essential step in ensuring wellness and good health. It is a preventive step and a way to catch a more serious condition before it begins to cause problems. An annual physical can also monitor vitals like weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and other markers.
Our mental health services are for adult women and men, adolescents/teenagers, seniors, and families. We begin all of our services with a comprehensive assessment to identify the client's needs. The assessment helps determine the specific needs of the individual and tailor their treatment plan accordingly. We treat various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social phobia (or social anxiety disorder), specific phobias, and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
Our pre and post-natal exams are designed to provide the best possible care throughout your pregnancy. We are dedicated to the health, safety, and comfort of you and your baby. Our doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals collaborate on all aspects of your care. Our routine prenatal and postnatal care include counselling and education, managing concerns and complications, coordination of specialist care if needed, and check-ups to ensure both you and your baby are doing well after you bring your baby home.
Our pediatric care services help you determine healthy lifestyles for your child and provide early detection of acute illness. Our team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child, tailored to their specific needs.
Quality of Care
Several reviewers have expressed concerns about the quality of care at this medical clinic. Some have experienced delayed or missed appointments, lack of time spent with doctors, and inexperienced or unprofessional staff. For example, Author Nastasia Steele claims that her swollen lymph nodes were misdiagnosed and she was sent away without being properly treated, leading to her developing pneumonia and bronchitis. Similarly, Author Rosetti felt that Dr. Rao was always rushing and did not spend enough time with them.
Contracts and Patient Rights
One reviewer, Raimond Brady, expressed serious concerns about the contracts being requested by the clinic. He felt that signing the contract would give the clinic excessive powers and violate his right to informed consent. He also felt that the clinic was being secretive about the contract and refused to explain its intent or purpose.
Positive Experiences
Despite the negative experiences, some reviewers have had positive experiences at the clinic.
