Disappointing Experience with Maidment RPR
Lack of Transparency in Reporting
The reviewer, Kyle Page, had a disappointing experience with Maidment RPR when they purchased their house. Although the company provided a report, it failed to include the air conditioner unit located at the back of the house. According to the company, they are only required to show AC units on the side of the house, and not the back. However, this omission has resulted in the reviewer having to pay an additional $700 for an updated RPR and compliance from the city.
Miscommunication and Additional Costs
The reviewer is not disputing the company's professionalism, but is highlighting the importance of ensuring that all improvements are included in the report, as stated in purchase contracts. This experience serves as a cautionary tale for others to insist on a comprehensive report, including all details, to avoid additional costs and inconvenience.
