About Our Shop

Negative Experiences

  • Unreliable Repairs: Jacob Slovak had a phone repaired with a promised 1-hour turnaround, but the repair took 8 days, and the phone was not properly fixed. Sean McCotter experienced a screen replacement that started to glitch and cut in and out less than 2 months after the repair. Tessa McDermid's MacBook Air screen broke again less than 24 hours after the initial repair.

Unresponsive Customer Service: Jacob Slovak reported that he had to convince the repair shop to ship his phone to him overnight after they failed to notify him that they would be closed due to snow. Tessa McDermid experienced poor communication from the shop, waiting two days for a response to her email and then receiving an aggressive response from the manager.

Faulty Repairs: Michael T. Slade's screen replacement started to malfunction shortly after the repair, and he was told that the screen was not covered under warranty. Tessa McDermid's MacBook Air screen broke again shortly after the initial repair.

Unfair Pricing: Tessa McDermid was told that it would cost another $400 to fix her MacBook Air screen, which she believed was excessively high.

Lack of Empathy: Tessa McDermid reported feeling deeply upset and frustrated by the shop's aggressive handling of the situation, and felt that her concerns were not taken seriously.
