Since 2007, we have had the privilege of orchestrating hundreds of weddings for our clients, and we have learned the intricacies of creating an unforgettable event that is uniquely special for each couple. Melissa Pullin is a seasoned wedding planner with over 15 years of experience in bringing couples' dreams to life. With her warm and outgoing personality, Melissa has a natural ability to connect with clients and create truly personalized events that reflect their unique style and love story. As an expert in her field, Melissa's innovative and creative style balances the logical and imaginative aspects of event planning, considering every detail, from the largest feature to the smallest accent. She has a deep appreciation for the people she works with and is known for giving big hugs to clients and staff at the end of every event. When she's not hard at work planning events, Melissa can be found indulging in her love for cooking, glamping, and traveling, reading a great novel or enjoying downtime with her husband and daughter, Marigold.
Morgan Lukan
Morgan Lukan began his career in sound and lighting design before joining forces with Melissa in 2007 to create their own event-planning business together. Morgan's passion for weddings and events stems from his dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for each and every guest, with flawless execution of behind-the-scenes logistics and bold ideas that get couples excited about their wedding. His fun and energetic personality puts people at ease, allowing them to relax and enjoy their special day. Morgan is a proud Canadian and his love for family is evident in all that he does. He enjoys exploring new cultures, recipe hunting, playing music, hiking, inspirational literature, and staying up-to-date on social justice issues. Working side-by-side with his wife, Melissa, is a true joy for Morgan as they make couples' dreams come true.
Inconsistencies in Service
While some reviewers have had excellent experiences with Lustre Events, others have been left disappointed and frustrated. Reviewer Patrick Smith had the worst experience, stating that he lost $4,000 of his hard-earned money due to the company's lack of effort. He claimed that Melissa, one of the company's event planners, spent less than 3 hours on his case and eventually refused to refund any portion of his deposit. Patrick described Melissa's responses as "incredibly slow" and accused her of gaslighting him.

Organization and Communication
Reviewers also praised Lustre Events' organizational skills and communication. Sinclair Bean credited the company with avoiding "decision-exhaustion" by asking the right questions and doing the legwork to present great options. George Gray praised the company's ability to stay positive and accommodating during the pandemic, saying that they were relieved to have them handling their wedding plans.
Disappointment and Scam
Unfortunately, one reviewer had a very different experience. According to Patrick Smith, Lustre Events refused to refund any portion of his deposit after he cancelled his wedding. He described the company as an "absolute scam" and warned others to always read the contract.
