Established in 2007, Creswell Dance Academy is a renowned dance school in The Beaches, Toronto, and now also proudly serving the Leaside community. With over 13 years of experience, we have built a reputation for offering high-quality dance classes, a competitive program, and opportunities to gain certification with the Royal Academy of Dance. Our mission is to instill respect and love for the grand tradition of dance and theatre in all our students, while fostering their growth and artistic expression.
Our Programs
At Creswell Dance Academy, we offer a diverse range of dance classes, including Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary/Lyrical. Our competitive program provides students with the opportunity to participate in recitals, workshops, and exams, while our recreational program is designed for students who enjoy dance as a hobby. We cater to students of all ages and abilities, encouraging them to grow as individual artists and participate at their own pace.

About Our History
Creswell Dance Academy was founded by Lea Creswell, who had a vision to create a dance school that would foster a love of dance and theatre in its students. Starting with just seven students in 2007, Lea's enthusiasm and dedication quickly grew the school to 37 students by the end of the first season. Today, we are proud to have become one of the best dance schools in The Beaches, Toronto, and we continue to be committed to providing a high-quality dance education to our students.

Disappointing Experience
Several reviewers expressed disappointment with the Creswell Dance Academy. Paula Andrea Amariles Restrepo mentioned that despite her daughter attending the academy since 2018, the dance teachers failed to encourage her to continue dancing, and when she expressed her concerns, the response was that her daughter needed to pay for more classes to improve. This led to a decision to stop attending the academy.
