Established in 1997 by Kyoshi James Fries, Heritage Martial Arts & Fitness Centre has become a cornerstone of the Kitchener community. As a unilateral training facility, we offer a diverse range of programs for both adults and children, fostering a sense of empowerment and well-being for all.
Traditional Martial Arts: Goju Ryu Karate
Our foundation lies in the traditional Goju Ryu Karate system, founded by Chojun Miyagi in Okinawa, Japan. We blend this rich heritage with modern teaching methods to empower individuals to learn self-defense, cultivate self-confidence, and improve their physical fitness. Karate training promotes:
