Our Management Team

Our team is the backbone of our success, boasting over a century of combined lending experience. Our management team is responsible for all aspects of the mortgage transaction, including sourcing mortgages, making lending decisions, negotiating interest rates, instructing lawyers, and administering Brookstreet's mortgage portfolio.

Diana Soloway, Co-President and CIO

Diana Soloway is a seasoned mortgage industry professional with over 28 years of experience. Beginning her career as a mortgage broker, Diana transitioned to TD Bank's Mortgage Sales Force division before being promoted to run the National Mortgage Broker Services department. With extensive experience in sales, relationship management, and communication, Diana was a natural fit for her role at Home Capital Group (Home Trust Company). Diana is a graduate of Western University and holds the Chartered Corporate Director (CCO) and Investment Dealer (UDP) designations from Brookvest Capital Corporation, a registered Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) with the Ontario Securities Commission.

Monique Thukral, Compliance Manager

Monique Thukral is a key member of our team, with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Monique began her career at a small investment management firm before moving on to larger organizations. She has held both back-office and client-facing roles, including Operations Manager, Client Service Manager, and Relationship Manager. As Compliance Manager at Brookstreet, Monique manages the day-to-day compliance requirements for regulators, investors, and clients alongside the President, Diana Soloway. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management from Ryerson University.
