Welcome to Yoga On Corydon, where we strive to create a peaceful and inviting environment for our students to Relax, Breathe, and Stretch. Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to health and well-being through the practice of yoga. Our experienced teacher, Jana Svenda, has been teaching yoga for over 40 years and has explored various styles of yoga, including Vinyasa flow, Anusara, Iyengar, restorative, hatha yoga, and meditation.

Our Services

At Yoga On Corydon, we offer a range of yoga classes to cater to different needs and levels of experience. Our classes are designed to promote relaxation, flexibility, and inner peace. We offer:

  • In-Person Classes: Our in-person classes are held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 755 Elm Street at Grant Avenue. We offer two classes per week, on Wednesdays at 9:45 AM and 6:30 PM.
  • Online Live-Streamed Classes: We also offer online live-streamed classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:45 AM.
  • On-Demand Classes: For those who prefer to practice yoga from the comfort of their own homes, we offer on-demand classes that can be accessed at any time.

Class Schedules

We offer various class schedules to accommodate different needs and preferences. Our class schedules are as follows:

  • 8-Week Session: Our 8-week session begins on May 5th and runs until June 30th. Classes are held twice a week, with additional on-demand classes available.
  • 9-Week Session: Our 9-week session begins on March 3rd and runs until May 5th. Classes are held twice a week, with additional on-demand classes available.

Pricing

Our pricing is competitive and flexible to accommodate different needs and budgets. We offer discounts for seniors (65+ years) and offer a prorated fee structure for classes lasting less than 8 or 9 weeks.

Meet Our Teacher

Jana Svenda has been teaching yoga for over 40 years and has explored various styles of yoga. Jana's passion is sharing the benefits of yoga with others and creating a supportive and inviting environment for students of all levels. She believes that yoga is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and she is dedicated to guiding students along this journey.

Yoga Etiquette

We believe that respect and kindness are essential components of a successful yoga practice. Please respect your fellow students, the teacher, and the yoga space. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins, and that you leave your shoes at the door.
