Munns Child Care Centre

Munn's Child Care Centre is a non-profit and inclusive organization that has been proudly serving the Oakville area since 1989. Our mission is to provide high-quality professional childcare, while creating positive learning environments that support the learning and development of each child in our care. We believe that play is a vital component of a child's learning and development, and our Emergent Play-Based Curriculum is designed to foster a sense of curiosity and exploration in our young students.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to promote a love of learning and a sense of purpose in young children. Our experienced staff use play-based learning strategies to engage children in a variety of activities and experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Our curriculum is based on the principles of "How Does Learning Happen" and focuses on the child's interests and development.

Our Staff

Our staff are committed to providing high-quality childcare and education to our students. All of our staff are trained in early childhood education and are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment. Our staff-to-child ratio is designed to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and care. From our RECE staff to our support staff, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality program that meets the unique needs of each child.

Our Community

At Munn's Child Care Centre, we believe that the community is a valuable resource and that involvement in the community is essential to learning and development. We partner with local organizations to provide learning opportunities and practical work experience to volunteers and college students. We also believe in the importance of involving the community in our program, and we strive to create partnerships that benefit both our organization and the broader community.

Locations

We have two convenient locations to serve the Oakville area: our Iroquois Ridge location at 1123 Glenaston Drive, and our Dundas Street location at 9 Dundas Hwy East at 6th Line. Both locations offer high-quality childcare and education programs for children from infancy to preschool age.
