Daycare Experience
The daycare centre under review, QPCCC, has received mixed reactions from parents. While some have had positive experiences, others have been left unsatisfied.
Cleanliness and Staff
Mike MacLellan, a satisfied parent, praised the daycare for being clean and safe, with friendly staff and efficient administration. This sentiment was shared by Faizi Bagheri, who also had excellent experiences at the centre, stating that both of his sons attended and many of their friends have had similarly positive experiences.
Concerns and incidents
However, another parent, K. Lam, had a disappointing experience. They reported an accident involving a falling handlebar, which resulted in injury to their cheek and eye. The parent expressed disappointment in the centre's response, stating that the Executive Director and administrative staff seemed unphased by the incident. The parent questioned the centre's maintenance and safety procedures, suggesting that they may not have regular checks on facilities to prevent similar incidents.
Withdrawal and Payment
K. Lam reportedly requested an immediate withdrawal from the centre due to the safety concerns, but the centre insisted on following their payment policy and requested payment for an extra month. The parent felt this was unfair, given that the withdrawal was a direct result of the centre's failure to ensure safety.
