Our Story

Founded in 1992 by Michael Kloster, our butcher shop was established with the goal of connecting home cooks and foodies to high-quality meats they could trust. Michael saw the growing need for consumers to understand where their food comes from and how it's produced, which inspired him to partner with local farms that prioritize transparency and sustainability. Today, we operate from two locations in Newmarket and Aurora, and our friendly and knowledgeable team members are always available to answer your questions, make recommendations, and cut your order to your liking.
