Quality Concrete Inc. is a leading supplier of concrete in the Atlantic Provinces, with a rich history dating back to 1958 when Dartmouth Ready Mix was founded in Nova Scotia. Over the years, the company has undergone significant growth, mergers, and acquisitions, culminating in the formation of Quality Concrete Inc. in 2016. Today, we operate 18 concrete plants, 18 concrete pumps, 140 mixer units, and 5 aggregate sites, serving 23 communities in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

DuraCast

Our pre-cast division, DuraCast, is a leader in the retaining wall and hardscape marketplace in Atlantic Canada. We manufacture and provide pre-cast hardscape solutions for the building industry, with applications in public sector, commercial, and residential projects. Our product lines, including Redi-Rock, Redi-Scape, and Rosetta, offer a range of hardscape choices that combine the stability of pre-cast concrete with the natural beauty of rock.

CarbonCure

Quality Concrete is proud to partner with award-winning CarbonCure Technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of our projects. Our Dartmouth plant is equipped with the CarbonCure technology, which introduces recycled carbon dioxide (CO2) into fresh concrete to optimize the mix design and hydration process. This innovative process improves the concrete's cement efficiencies, reducing its carbon footprint by an average of 11 kilograms of CO2 per cubic yard of concrete.
