Meet Matea

Hi, I'm Matea (mah-tay-uh) and I am a professional Photographer based out of St Thomas, Ontario. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I turned my passion into a career in 2011. I am of Croatian decent and immigrated to Canada with my family in 1993 during a war in my home Country. This experience made me realize the importance of capturing and holding onto life's most precious moments and milestones. After graduation in Business Marketing and Administration, I chose to further my education in Photography at Fanshawe College. In 2011, I turned my creativity, eye for detail, and business background into a home-based photography business, that has quickly flourished into a bustling full-time career, capturing weddings, families, and newborns all over Ontario. I am a Mother of 2 beautiful children and wife to an amazing Husband of 12 years. I enjoy being an active part of my community and donating my time and services to worthy causes.
